As The World Dies Untold Tales Volume 3 Reviews

I'm fairly certain I'm repeating myself when I say I'm in love with this series, but really I don't care! This series rocked my world thoroughly and completely, quickly becoming one of my favorites of all time, if not the favorite. So it's no surprise that these untold tales garner just as much love from me. I rarely read novellas even when they're part of a series, but I'm telling you, these ones are absolutely worth it. They put the cherry on top of an already fantastic series. And for the love of god if this is really your first time hearing me rave about these books, see what you're missing here! It may not have mattered for the other Untold Tales, but it's pretty important to have read the complete As the World Dies series before you jump into this one as it does have major spoilers of the finale. We begin with Rune's story, a peculiar character at that. Rune is a medium, and you can only imagine what he's had to deal with when most of the world has just been eaten by zombies. Being able to see ghosts gives us an exceptionally interesting POV, especially knowing how this ability helped not only him, but the whole fort as well. And being a character that only appears late in the series, it was great to see what he went through from the beginning of this zombocalypse. Mostly, I love how he has all the looks of a dangerous badass, but he has one of the biggest hearts you will meet in this story. Plus he is extremely intelligent (nothing is more annoying than stupidity in an end of the world scenario).Following Rune is Senator Paige Brightman's story. GAH! That woman frustrates me to no end. It was all kinds of awesome to see how much of a self-centered bitch she really is, though, but only because you know what becomes of her. This story fills in the gap of what happened to her up until her demise. Her death was exactly what she deserved, and this short story makes it even more satisfying. The most effective story of this collection for me was, by far, Emma's. Starting right before the zombies come, we see her living the simple life with her 3 year old son and we feel the love she has for him instantly. It's then that I knew my heart was in trouble. I could put myself exactly in her shoes having a carbon copy of her nudist little rascal of my own, which made this story intensely heartbreaking. Heartbreaking to the point where I was forced to hold on to this naive sense of hope that I knew was fruitless, only because it was easier than feeling the pain I knew was inescapable. This is yet another example of just how powerful this series truly is. I have rarely cared about fictional characters this much in my life, let alone in a zombie story. In such a short time, Emma was able to grab just a little corner of my heart. Her strength and fierce determination is simply unreal, plus knowing how important she will become to the characters I have loved throughout makes her an instant favorite. Her story also allows a glimpse into the fort after the ending of Siege which is honestly a real treat.Every time I read these Untold Tales, all the feelings and raw emotions I had while reading the series get brought back to the surface, making them extremely nostalgic reads. Reading the final volume overwhelmed me with emotion; this time it's truly and irrevocably the end. It's crazy how much I continue to love these characters months later.--An advance copy was provided by the author for review. For more of my reviews, visit my blog at Xpresso Reads

I have avoided all of Rhiannon's untold tales volumes before, because I didn't know if I could handle going back into that world again for such a short amount of time. To say that I love the AtWD universe is an understatement, and I am of course, a Rhiannon Frater fangirl so I think most people are surprised by this. What can I say about Vol. 3?It's great, like the other Untold Vols. we get to learn how certain individuals came to be at the fort. Vol. 3 starts off with Rune's story, and as soon as I finished the first page I was sucked back into this world. Rune is a great character, and I very much enjoyed spending more time with him. I do have to say that the last story of the book is my favorite. It's very much a completion of the saga, and Rhiannon herself told me that when she finished it the world felt complete, so needless to say, I don't think there will be another book. The last story is a story of heartbreak, and of love in a dead world. It illustrates how hard it is to love, and have real emotions. There is one scene in the story that impacted me as much as those little fingers under the door. I had tears streaming down my face as I read it, and even now, thinking about it I am holding back more tears. It's a huge accomplishment for a writer to move her readers to such deep emotions, and Rhiannon does it for me again and again. I loved being in this world again, so much so that I might have to hunt down Vols. 1 & 2 on my kindle and read them. Thank you so much Rhiannon for giving me a chance to visit this world again. I was given an early copy of this book for review.

5 fangirling stars!!This series just keeps getting better with every side story!!I never thought it was possible to love this series even more than I already do but I stand corrected! I love the world Ms Frater has created here. At first glance The plot and characters might appear simple and straightforward but you soon realise how deep, complex and diverse both the characters and their worlds are. What makes the characters believable is their diversity, history, emotional/mental scars, secret fears, worries, ambitions and frailties. In short they are living and breathing people that almost jump out of the page! Ms Frater's awesome writing ability lets the reader see into the heart and soul of each of the characters and what makes them tick. Her amazing skills at manipulating our emotions, her compelling characters and captivating plot lines makes this series both beautiful and unforgettable.

Im sitting here trying to write this review and I honestly cant find the right words, but going to give it a shot. Rhiannon Frater is hands-down one of the most brilliant authors around, I simply love the "world" she has built in the "As The World Dies" series. Just when I think she cant possibly wow me anymore, she releases another complilation. My mind sees the story she tells, so much so that I feel like I know the characters she has created. Not many writers can actually do that (at least not for me). If you havent read the ATWD trilogy, you are definitely missing out on one helluva journey. Forget the Walking Dead. I know I did pretty much as soon as I read the 1st line in book one "The First Days". Thanks Rhiannon for yet another beautiful addition to the BEST zombie lit on the market.

I love this series. Rhiannon(author)really nailed it. The characters are alive. I really cared about them. I cheered them on and rooted for their success. When things go bad as they have to in any good zombie book I cried. This book really wrapped up the series. I will miss this world, because Rhiannon says that this is the last, even though I secretly hope she changes her mind. If you miss this series you are the one losing out. I became so emerged in this series I feel like I know these characters as people from my life. Please done miss out and leave these people in the book and not as part of your memories of a very special experience. Rhiannon Frater proves there is life after Zombies.

Never has a Zombie story touched me as Rhiannon Frater's As The World Dies series has. This world and these characters will forever hold a special place in my heart. I laughed, I cried and then when I thought I was done, I cried some more. Over the course of the series I was put through the emotional gauntlet and yet still somehow managed to come out victorious.Like every other Untold Tale this book is broken up into stories that follow individual characters from The As The World Dies universe. The first story follows the character Rune. His journey starts right at the beginning of the Zombie mayhem. Now I must warn you, grab some tissues. Just 11 pages in and I was already crying. However, this sadness does help propel the character onward to his final destination so it is worth it. Rune also has the special ability to see Ghosts. Which if you can guess gets a bit messy with so many newly dead roaming the planet. The Ghosts do have a purpose and I certainly loved seeing more of them. Especially the brief glimpses from characters I knew to be dearly departed.Next up is a tale that follows Senator Paige Brightman. She is one cold hearted bitch let me tell you. However, it was definitely cool getting to see how the horde that eventually finds the fort came to be and also what happened with certain characters in her crew along the way.Last up is a tale from a character called Emma who was omitted from the main storyline in the Tor edition. Her place in the scheme of things is nonetheless important. Emma in many ways is the most heartbreaking character of them all. Left alone in a dead world all she can do is hold onto the hope her son is alive. Those ten tiny fingers make an appearance again and I swear when I saw that line I had Book PTSD. Yup, prepare to cry some more. Emma's tale is my second favorite and when I was done I felt satisfied all will be right with the world and the survivors as long as they had each other. I would of loved to see Emma in the main story but getting to hear her tale now is still satisfying and it added a certain completion I hadn't been feeling until then. Also one of the best parts of Emma's story is we get to see the fort again!!! I won't give up what happens or how she arrives but it put a big smile on my face.Overall, while I'm sad this journey through the As The World Dies universe is done, I am happy The Untold Tales Vol. 3 was a worthy ending for the characters I've come to love. The majority of the questions I had after Siege were answered and I can move on knowing that in some alternate plain these characters are still surviving strong and kicking much Zombie ass in the process. That being said, I HIGHLY recommend picking The Untold Tales Vol. 3 up and giving it a go. The writing, the world building and character development is perfect. Really, I have no complaints. Which is why when all is said and done, I will be rating The Untold Tales Vol. 3 by Rhiannon Frater ★★★★★.

As a huge fan of the “As the world dies” trilogy I have to admit that I am more than sad to see it end. However I have to say that Rhiannon has out down herself with this book. In it we get to know more about the motorcycle riding Ghost Whisperer Rune, I will admit that Rhiannon had me Crying like a baby by page four! I love the way that she has woven in many characters form the ATWD universe into this take and even took the time to add a character that was not in the book but just as much part of the tale. she ended it on a wonderful note and left me full of hope for the future of the ATWD cast. You will not be left feeling cheated after you read this, the last of her untold tales series.

What a wonderful way to bring down the final curtain on the ATWD series. I felt this brought about the real ending we all wanted. The writer brought in several characters from the series to show us what happened to them in between books etc. This is important because as fans you become very attached to these people and want to know more and I'm thankful to the author for sharing the stories with us. The writing is great as usual and there were several points that I had tears in my eyes. If I had to compare how good it was to a tv show finale for people to compare I'd say it's as good as the surprise finale to Newhart back in 1990 which was done strictly for the fans.

I have read all of the As The World Dies books including all of the Untold Tales and loved every single one. I was thrilled to read more about Rune who is one of my favorite characters, finding out more about the awful Paige Brightman, and being introduced to Emma. I was so happy to get to see what happened to every one though too briefly at the end. I say too briefly as I know this is the last book and I will miss everybody and am sad but all good stories must come to an end. Luckily Rhiannon Frater has plenty of other wonderful books to read but these will always be my favorite.

I love this series. Rhiannon did a great job of linking all my favorite characters together and had really awesome storylines. I really wish there would be another volume to this series, but I do feel a since of closure, especially with my favorite character, Tito. I just wish it would have been longer. I loved the gunslinger reference.

Rhiannon Frater’s As The World Dies UNTOLD TALES (Vol 3) is broken up into multiple stories, as the previous two Untold Tales volumes were.If you’re unfamiliar with these particular tales, they are the UNTOLD tales from Rhiannon Frater’s AMAZING zombie trilogy, As the World Dies.Untold Tale #1 : RUNERune has been one of my very favorite and most beloved characters since his first appearance in the As the World Dies trilogy. He just has this PRESENCE that can’t be overlooked. His story in As the World Dies: The Untold Tales Volume 3 starts out heartbreaking and is as horrifying it is riveting!Rune can see spirits, he is a medium of sorts (I do hope this doesn’t spoil anything for anyone…) and he’s awakened by his daughter and grandson’s spirits while he’s on the road. Telling him that the world is no longer safe and he must SURVIVE.“For the last two hours he’d listened to the end of the world.”Running into a barricaded town on his way to check in on a friend, he actually runs into BRANDY – the chick Eric was with when the zombies came! Remember in Untold Tales Vol 1? She left him at the Bed & Breakfast and then he met Stacey!A bit later he runs across Tito! Remember Tito is the guy who helped Ken and Lenore escape the city!As Rune makes his way across Texas, the spirits of the dead become almost unbearably persistent until one particular ghost (I CRIED!!!) shows up with a message for him.He runs across Monica next, and I ALSO cry At the mention of Juan. Dear LORD almighty I didn’t realize how much I MISSED these characters!!!“Gritting his teeth, Rune played the Pied Piper to the zombie horde behind him.”We leave Rune raising hell, saving the day and heading for Waco! I swear, I hope when the zombies do attack, I have someone like Rune popping by every now and again to be my hero!!Untold Tale #2 : Senator Paige BrightmanSenator Paige Brightman’s story (the “leader” at the mall compound in Siege (As The World Dies, #3)When I turned the page on my kindle to see that Senator Brightman’s story was next, I PHYSICALLY recoiled from my beloved 4×6 device like it might decide to bite me or something!Paige Brightman’s story is a short one, but get across her malicious ways quite well!Untold Tale #3 : EMMA*tears*Emma’s story is so completely heartbreaking, and she’s a WICKED zombie killer.I knew who she was when a dark haired apparition appeared to her… That’s about all I can say without giving too much away – if for some ungodly reason you have yet to read the As the World Dies trilogy.I, PERSONALLY have very strong emotions toward Emma and her role in the As the Wold Dies and Untold Tales series – for reasons I can’t discuss without being TOTALLY spoilery and such!!!I will never tire of this series, of these characters or of the post-apocalyptic world created within! I need MORE! As The World Dies Untold Tales Volume 3 contain three new and completely fantastic additions to the world in the As the World Dies series by Rhiannon Frater!

More exciting stories in the Untold Tales Series! All of the characters in these Untold Tales appear in Siege, the third and final book in the series. The Backroads of Zombie Hell (Rune’s Story)Now Rune won me over right from the beginning. He brings a spiritual aspect to the story. What happens to the souls of the dead once they become zombies? He’s a loner until a ghost tells him it’s time to get moving. There’s somewhere he needs to be.This is where a lot of the characters bump into each other from other Untold Tales.Rune may look and act like your typical biker. He’s got a mean streak and you don’t want to mess with him. But he’s also intuitive, guided by spirits, and a really decent guy. It would be good to have him on your side. The opening scene was deep. The ghost waking him from his drunken stupor is none other than his daughter. I was almost in tears at this sad, gentle moment. I could see how it would be easy to hide away in the hills, isolating oneself from people and drowning your sorrows in booze. Rune lost everyone. But when somethings needs doing, he’s your man.The Wickedest Woman in Texas (Paige’s Story)It seems there’s always someone who has their own agenda. Someone you just want to b#!ch slap.In walks Senator Paige Brightman, wicked witch of the apocalypse. Some people have blinders on and can’t seem to grasp that the world is different, their lives are forever changed, and they try to go about business as usual.Paige is one of those people. She still thinks her position matters, that what she thinks matters.Paige needs to get with the program. Her life isn’t any more important than another’s, and her flippant view of collateral damage just may leave her all alone.I enjoyed having someone to despise, some one to offer up to the zombies. The author does an excellent job of making me feel just that. Are the Dead Walking The Earth (Emma’s Story)Emma never made it into the As The World Dies series. You’ll only read her story here.Emma’s story goes beyond the end of the series and shows the aftermath. She shows this to you while telling the story to her two young children.I think this one hit me the hardest. Rhiannon expertly showed me some disturbing, heart wrenching scenes. I almost wish I could have shut my eyes at times, they were so vivid.I agree, Emma’s story needed to be told. This may be labeled a zombie apocalypse series, but it’s really a story about people. Everyday people dealing without the end of their worlds, and the beginning of hell on Earth.I was reduced to tears in the end. It hurt when I cried. I can only imagine how Emma felt.I received this book for my honest review. My review is in no way inflenced and I wish there were more.

Now the only warning I have to give about the As the World Dies: Untold Tales Volume 3 is that readers that have not yet read the series may want to hold off on reading this one until finishing Siege. It does not give much away but it does give some events away. I have not read any of the As the World Dies books, and what little I read will not affect the story for me. I will have to say that out of all of the Untold Tales, Volume 3 is my favorite simple because the characters of Emma and Rune are just amazing! I also forgot to mention in the previous reviews, each story comes with a little introduction and insight into each story and I think that helps readers who did not get to read the serial online back when this amazing story started. The first story in Untold Tales Volume 3 is the longest story of the book. It is the story of Rune and it is fittingly titled “The Back Roads of Zombie Hell.” The very beginning of the story is not like any of the other Untold Tales because Rune has a special gift. The opening sequence in this story had my tearing up because of the emotions behind it. Even with the emotional scene at the beginning, Rune is a one very badass biker. As events unfold Rune’s story really becomes about seek to help the living and getting justice for the lost. It is such a great story that sucked me in, I was sad to see it end. The second story is a shorter story about Senator Brightman again with another fitting title “The Wickedest Woman in Texas.” The Senator is not a character that anyone would root for at all. She is an annoying self-serving politician that represents a lot of what is wrong with some of the politicians. She is an evil woman, and I cannot wait to see how her story plays out in Siege. The third story is both awesome and absolutely heart wrenching. It is “The Fearless Zombie Killer” and it is the story of Emma, a character that was featured in the online serial but never really made it into the books. It is so fitting to see her story in the Untold Tales Volume 3 and I have to say it maybe my favorite just because of the raw emotion the character has to experience. After binge reading the entire Untold Tales series, because I just could not stop myself. I am sad to see it end. I know that I am defiantly moving up the As the World Dies series on my TBR list and I think I will just block of a section of time because when I start the first one, I will probably end up binge reading them like I did this series. I have to say this series is amazing and I think Volume 3 defiantly saved the best for last. **Unabridged Bookshelf received this book from author in exchange for an honest review**

I don’t think I’ll ever get over just how amazing author, Rhiannon Frater, is! Even after being away from the intense world she created in the As The World Dies trilogy, after only the first page in this collection of short stories, I was completely and utterly immersed back into a world that I was craving. Especially with the start-up of the new season of The Walking Dead, the craving that I had for good zombie stories was found right here.As with the first 2 volumes of the As the World Dies Untold Tales, Rhiannon Frater takes us back to these dark days when the zombie apocalypse first breaks out (or shortly into the infestation) and treats the readers with the raw fear and emotions found with these characters. I, myself, was so excited to read this volume as one of my favorite characters stories is told here. That being the bad ass biker dude, with a big heart…Rune. But not only do we get to read the heart wrenching moments when these characters find out that the world that they know it has completely ended, we also witness the deceit and treachery from one cold bitch. That person being Senator Paige Brightman. Sure, the end of the world takes its toll on everyone, but what this chick does in order to survive is downright disgusting…and bravo to the author for the way in which she tells her tale of the days after the Madison Mall incident. You know that the author is amazing when you can feel so many different emotions in just a matter of a few paragraphs. As with the other books associated with As The World Dies, readers can’t help but get caught up in the chaos and pain that surrounds these characters.I for one, am jonsing for a re-read of this entire trilogy. With the background stories of some of the characters, I feel like I can become even MORE emotionally invested in the happenings of the characters and gain a better understanding of what they had lost, and what was gained.Fans of zombie reads, apocalyptical reads, and anyone who just wants to be in the presence of some really awesome writing will devour the tales found in As The World Dies Untold Tales Volume 3. If you haven’t had the opportunity to check out the trilogy, you seriously need to get on it ASAP. These are stories that you definitely do not want to miss out on.

http://readingandwritingurbanfantasy....Story #1Another heartbreaking story. I pretty much cried with this one. Rune can see and talk to ghosts. And during a zombie apocalypse, that can be a hard burden to carry. Especially when your family could be those spirits. But despite the trauma Rune goes through in the beginning, he is a resilient man. He knows how to take care of himself. He's a good guy but he can also be bad when he needs to be. I was shocked by what he did to get revenge for the spirits who died in ways no one should, ways that can be worse than zombies eating you alive. He will not stand for the evil humans left in this earth, and he is making his displeasure for them known in a big way. The best part was Rune being able to talk to ghosts. That really changed things up. I love how they could help and guide him. In the end, every zombie book needs that scary hero that has no limits. Story #2I almost gave this book 3.5 stars because of this story. I know Senator Paige was suppose to be a badie, and that's fine and all, but dedicating such a pretty big part of this book to her story irritated me. I didn't like her, and I didn't care about her story. I ended up skimming a lot of this one. But I can say she is deliciously evil. Story #3This story made me want to read the original series so bad. This shows us the aftermath of the final battle in Siege, the last book in the As The World Dies Series. And I loved every minute of it. But before all that we meet Emma, a great mom. After the zombies come, she becomes a major zombie killer. Her story is pretty heartbreaking in the beginning. No mother should have to go through that. But it did make her a stronger, more resilient person. And she needed that to survive the things she did. I am still awed by what she accomplished. Emma is one amazing woman. VerdictDespite the annoying Senator story, the other two stories were amazing. I think this book made me get a better idea of what to expect in the original series. *Free book from author for honest review*

SERIES REVIEW:The 'As the World Dies: Untold Tales' trilogy is a fantastic collection of short stories that gives the background on some of the favorite characters in the series. Fans of the series will love to learn more about the characters they loved from the books and new readers will get some background on the series and the characters before diving into the books. Each volume consisted of three short stories that featured characters from each of the books in the series. They were fast paced and incredibly well written, which allowed me to read through them very quickly. Although the stories aren't very long, the reader still gets a good grasp on the characters involved as well as the plot of the books - thanks to the writer's exceptional talent. Each story is filled with lots of details and vivid imagery along with a very quick pace and lots of action. Although I'm a huge horror fan, zombies aren't usually my thing (they scare me a bit) - but I have to admit that the author's knack for drawing the reader into the world she created has me hooked. Now I have to face my zombie fear and read the series. I've read several of the author's other works and I know that although I might be scared and probably grossed out, I will not be disappointed in the least. One thing I know is that this author is truly gifted and will easily convert any reader into a fan - regardless of what book of hers they pick up.Disclosure: I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Rhiannon Frater's, As the World Dies, Untold Tales, is a must have for any of her fans! This little gem of a book holds stories about the characters living at “the fort.” We see their backstories, where they came from, what formed their personalities and the individual struggles they endured to survive the end of the world, zombie apocalypse. I absolutely LOVED the first story and liked how Rhiannon filled in some of the gaps from previous “Untold…” stories. Like another reviewer stated, the Emma story is fantastic and offers closure to the trilogy. The only disappointment I have is with the Senators story. For die-hards, like me, who own both editions of the trilogy, you’ll quickly see that it’s the same story from Rhiannon’s independent novel, Siege. The only new additions were the final few pages of what happened to the soldier’s who were with the Senator. I did feel a bit cheated, expecting at least three new stories and only read two. But if you’re a first time reader and don’t own the first editions, you’ll be very happy.I’ve been a die-hard fan of Rhiannon’s since I happened upon her self-published work, so I own all of her zombie books. I've also read her trilogy and Untold Tales several times and it still holds me captive. It was one of the few zombie, post-apocalyptic novels that features female protagonist, has strong character development and a compelling plot.

Rune is a man of honor, belying his appearance as a biker, and my heart broke for him at every turn while I became more and more admiring of him. An unusual communion with the ghosts of the innocent dead leads him on a path he would not have expected of himself and he finds his own kind of redemption. Not everyone trying to survive in a zombie-filled world can be a sympathetic character; it wouldn’t be logical that only nice, honorable people would remain. Senator Paige Brightman is the perfect person you love to hate and her being a politician adds to the many reasons to want the worst for her. Her creation of a “distraction” during a harrowing escape is what she’s all about in a nutshell and I found myself urging the zombies on.Emma Russell is an everywoman, struggling to make it on her own in this terrible new world. She’s another one who sees ghosts and they just may lead her to salvation.Emma is my favorite character of all that are introduced in these three volumes but all have a place in my mind now. This has been the perfect way to gain entry into Ms. Frater’s zombie world and I’m looking forward to reading the full trilogy next. Zombie stories run the gamut from cheesy to enthralling and, having read these collections of shorts, I believe Ms. Frater has hit the enthralling end.Reviewed by Lelia Taylor, October 2013.

This is a superbly written addition to the main trilogy, which gives you more of certain characters back grounds and the terrors they endured getting themselves to relative safety avoiding the zombie walking dead. This book centres around a biker called Rune and his battle that is complicated because of his powers as a medium, psychic that mean he can see dead spirits, and there's a lot that want to talk to him! As the title to my review says, why can't I buy the original trilogy on Kindle? These untold tales stories are just brilliant, and make me want to read the main story even more. SO WHERE IS IT!!! For this reason alone I have marked it down to 3 stars. The story is worth 5 stars all day long , but not without the main story and I'm afraid that paperbacks just aren't convenient enough anymore!I've said it before that Rhiannon Frater is one of the very best writers of her genre out there, and I look forward to reading everything She writes with great enthusiasm. Love your books!

I absolutely loved the Untold Tales! A lot of times I don't think short stories really add anything important to a series, but these Untold Tales certainly do!They are a brilliant addition to a brilliant series! In Volume 3 it's Rune, Senator Brightman and Emma's story.I loved to read more about Rune cause although he's an important charachter in As the World Dies series we don't know that much about him. And it was a nice surprise to see Tito again in his story!Senator Brightman's story... that was exactly what I expected... Paige would do anything to obtain her goals! She is one cold bitch!Emma's story was just beautiful! Emma is a charachter that doesn't appear in the As the World Dies series and we get her story from the first days till after the end of Siege. Her story was one of great sadness (yep, cried like a baby!) but with a very hopeful ending!

This volume is comprised of three separate stories of survivors during the zombie apocalypse. Rune a traveling biker who also has the ability to see and speak to ghosts is caught in the upheaval of the zombie apocalypse. Rune was a decent man and he used his ability to communicate with the dead to resolve the wrongs done to them and let them rest in peace. Senator Brightman was one conceited, arrogant, pompous a$$…well, she was a politician after all. True to form she left the other survivors on their own in her attempt to reach a safer environment. Perhaps she may reap what she sows as her security team abandons her for brighter shores. The third story is a sad tale of a woman caught in the escalating apocalypse not knowing the condition of her young son who was visiting her ex. It takes her more than a year, but eventually finds her son. Good stories and well done.

I want to start this out by saying, "Curse you, Rhiannon Frater, Curse you!". You have a developed skill for making me cry.I loved the book. It's beautiful, loved the insight into Rune. Honestly wish I could have read more about Emma, but I love how she was brought into the Fort by a much loved character.Thank you for this entire series. It truly is amazing.

Excellent!I was so happy to read that there could possibly be a "happy" ending at the of The trilogy. Hated reading about the Senator though. Really didn't need to know more about her.

I've been holding off on reading this one for so long because I didn't want to leave the As the World Dies Universe, but then I had a desperate zombie craving and had to read something good, so I picked this up. I love this tales as they really do give that extra look at some great characters.

Love love loved it. So, glad to see Tito again and Nerits husband. Ruins story is heartbreaking at times with the spirits helping him right the wrongs. I thought his run in with Monica was pretty interesting. His backstory was awesome.
